Accused in police custody and brown sugar recovered from him

Laheriasarai police station has arrested two people with 61 pods of brown sugar from Ekmighat in Bahadurpur police station area of Darbhanga district of Bihar. While one accused has absconded. Actually, accused Gunjan Kumar Rai, father Arjun Kumar Rai and Golu Kumar Mahato, father Dinesh Mahato have been arrested by Laheriyasarai police station from Saidnagar in front of Ekmighat Durga Temple. 61 packets of smack (brown sugar) have been recovered from both of them. The police is busy interrogating the arrested accused.
According to the police, secret information was received that some youths were selling smack near Saidnagar Honda showroom. Laheriyasarai police station took immediate action and conducted a raid, in which two youths were arrested from the spot. Whereas a young man, who is a resident of Muzaffarpur district, escaped after dodging the police. On the basis of interrogation of the arrested accused, the police is conducting raids to arrest the absconding accused.
Sadar SDPO Amit Kumar said that two youths have been arrested near the Honda showroom located in Saidnagar in Laheriyasarai police station area. While a young man has absconded. 61 bags of brown sugar have been recovered from the arrested youth. Both of them are being interrogated as to where the strings of this business are connected.
